The Opportunity

You’ll join our Mildura team and start by learning the foundations — our systems, our service standards, and how we care for patients. From there, you’ll progress into a Practice Manager role as you demonstrate capability, ownership, and leadership.

This role is ideal for someone who:

• Has optical dispensing or industry experience (highly regarded)
• Takes pride in delivering the right outcome for the patient
• Or has strong retail, sales, or leadership experience
• Is naturally proactive and accountable
• Wants to build a long-term career in a growing business

What You’ll Be Doing (Day-to-Day)

• Deliver exceptional customer service from first contact to collection
• Help patients choose frames and lenses that suit their vision needs and lifestyle
• Provide high-quality dispensing advice and solutions
• Support smooth day-to-day clinic operations
• Manage bookings, phones, and front-of-house experience
• Work closely with the team to ensure a high standard of care

Your Path to Practice Manager

As you grow into the role, you’ll take on:

• Leading the team and setting performance expectations
• Driving sales and improving conversion opportunities
• Managing stock, suppliers, and merchandising
• Overseeing recalls, bookings, and clinic flow
• Tracking and improving key performance metrics
• Supporting team development and training

About You

Salary & Progression

• Starting salary: approx. $60,000 + Super (depending on experience)
• Progression to Practice Manager: approx. $70,000 + Super
• Clear pathway based on performance — not time-based
